Senior Professional Staff Involved and Functions Performed:

  1. Mr. Muyi Kazeem – Project Coordinator
  2. Mr. Lawrence Ibhafidon – Team Member
  3. Mr. George Ekene – Team Member

Description of Project:

A key objective of this project is to estimate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction achieved when diesel used for onsite power generation and fuel oil for steam production are replaced with lower‐carbon natural gas. The Triple E team employed internationally accepted Carbon Accounting methodologies to estimate the GHG emissions reduction and submitted the resulting document for registration on a selected carbon trading platform. Developed under the Paris Agreement Article 6.2 ITMO mechanism, the mitigation option is planned for sale to the Global Carbon Council (GCC) in Doha, Qatar. The process began with a Mitigation Action Idea Note (MAIN) that secured government approval and served as the basis for a Project Submission Form (PSF), which is now undergoing verification by an international verification company registered with the GCC. Triple E continues to support the client through the registration process.
